Do you have to do the quests to get them? Can you just get them at the end of the game like you do the other hero's? Or do you have to get atleast one of them by the quest way

You do a quest to pick one of the two of them, and then at the end of the game you can get the other one that you didn't pick.

You have to pick one to continue the story. At the end of the game you talk to the heros who have not previously joined you party. You get a separate "Gain Hero X" quest at that time. They are pretty much "come and get me" quests.

The answer is no, you do not need to get one to finish the game. It???s merely another tool in the toolbox, so to speak.

As for whether they will both be available in the Throne of Secrets, I cannot say for sure, but I imagine yes. (Personally I always grab Norgu; resmer ftw.)

Incorrect. They are not primary quests. At one point you will finish a mission and end up in Kodash Bazaar. When you talk to Zerai the Learner, he will have two quests for you, one is Greed and Regret, and the other is Brains or Brawn. Only Greed and Regret is the primary quest.

Note that when you go to get to choose between Goren and Norgu you will need to pick the person that you DO NOT WANT to join your party to send off to help. Once you do that, you will talk to the person who didn't go and do their quest to gain them.

If worse comes to worse, and they will only let you get one of them free from the end game, the quest should still be active to get the other. However I would put my money on that you can just get both of them at the end if you don't want to do the quests...

i completely by passed that section to beat the game with my dervish and got them both in the end so you dont need to worry about it right now. just follow your primaries and missions.
